About DeepVelo
DeepVelo Inc. is a South Korean research and product development company working across agriculture, desalination, cosmetics and eco-friendly energy — now building its presence in the United States.
Our story
DeepVelo was founded on the conviction that the hard problems — food security, water scarcity, clean energy — already have working solutions in the natural world. The engineering task is not to invent past nature. It is to understand the mechanism well enough to build with it.
That conviction shapes what we refuse as much as what we pursue. We rule out GMOs and chemical fertilizers not as marketing positioning, but because a solution that creates a new environmental cost has not actually solved anything.
Today that work spans four research fields, one commercialized product line operating on farms in four countries, and a team drawn from mechanical engineering, plant science, medicine, finance and global marketing.

Mr. Hong has exceptional business management skills, having served as the CEO of IT and manufacturing companies. He also has experience working as a researcher in the field of mechanical engineering, with expertise in design and manufacturing.
Mr. Ahn has over 30 years of extensive experience in business management, finance, sales and marketing, with a background in senior roles at publicly listed companies in South Korea, drawing on his successful experience in collaborative projects with global companies.
Mr. Lee has over 25 years of experience in product R&D. He previously served as a senior researcher at Bellwave and Nokia, and as adjunct professor at Inha University. He is currently responsible for the research and development of DEEPVELO’s product line.
Dr. Park holds a Ph.D. in Electronics, Telecommunications and Radio Engineering and is an expert in mechanical, electrical and electronic product design. He currently serves as Director at DeepVelo and has extensive experience in medical and surgical robotics.
His professional experience includes roles at Qualtrics, where he collaborated with U.S. government agencies, universities and Canadian enterprises, and as co-founder and CMO of Alaska Current Seafoods Inc.
Professor Yoo is a faculty member in the field of plant science at a national university and leads agricultural research and product development at DEEPVELO.
